These roles are senior nurse leadership positions based at Auckland City Hospital, Ward 64.The Oncology Service at Auckland City Hospital is comprised of a 27 bed Inpatient unit, Oncology Day Stay Unit and Outpatient clinics.In this role you will be responsible for the provision of clinical expertise and leadership for the inpatient Oncology ward.The team includes Oncologists, Fellows, Registrars, House officers, Charge Nurse, Nurse Specialists, a Nurse Educator, Allied Health and Registered Nurses who are all focused on improving the quality of care and providing a positive experience for patients and their whanau.About YouWe are looking for highly motivated, progressive and innovative nurses who will be able to strengthen the nursing care delivery and work collaboratively within the clinical teams.To succeed in this role, we are looking for the following:Postgraduate certificate/ diploma in speciality nursing practiceWorking Towards completion of masters degreeMinimum of five years experience post registration in relevant nursing specialtySound understanding of professional ethicsPreferably Chemotherapy CertifiedFor further details, please refer to the position description here.We offer a supportive environment, and your professional development is important to us.
