Our client is a highly respected and well-established New Zealand engineering company, proudly serving the industry for over 28 years. They are currently seeking a skilled Combustion, Burner & Boiler Service Technician to join their expanding national team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of burners, boilers, and associated combustion equipment. This includes working both in the company workshop and on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair of gas, diesel, and oil burners
  • Maintenance and repair of water and steam boilers
  • Installation of burners and boilers on-site
  • Conduct combustion inspections and complete detailed service reports
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and always maintain professional conduct
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with industrial mechanical equipment
  • Relevant mechanical qualification (required)
  • Electrical and/or gas certification (advantageous)
  • Full, clean driver’s licence (required)
  • Strong fault-finding, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
