Carpenter/apprentice required - Queenstown

We are looking for candidates to fill the following positions:

QUALIFIED CARPENTER:

Requirements:

• Genuine passion and interest in all types of carpentry and building methods
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to challenges
• Hard working and physically fit
• Able to work unsupervised, read plans and think ahead
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Knowledge and understanding of NZ building regulations
• Full set of tools
• Great communication skills and be willing to supervise others
• Full clean Driver Licence

HAMMERHAND/APPRENTICE CARPENTER:

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of prior carpentry experience
• Hard working with initiative
• Punctual and responsible
• Tidy and organised
• Passionate about developing their skills and progressing within the industry
• Experienced with using a variety of tools
• Own Transport and basic tools

This role would suit someone with previous carpentry experience who is looking to develop their skills and progress towards being trade qualified. You will work collaboratively alongside a team of builders in a creative work environment meaning your job will be varied and interesting.

A successful candidate must be a New Zealand resident or hold a valid work visa. A current full drivers licence and reliable transport is also essential.
