About the Role
Mid North Farms is seeking a Farm Operations Support person to assist with day-to-day farm operations and technical support across its integrated farming business. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a practical, hands-on role working closely with Farm Managers and teams to support the effective running of farm operations.
The position provides a strong development opportunity for someone early in their farming career who is keen to broaden their experience within a progressive multi-farm business and deepen their understanding of farm systems and performance.
With a strong technical and analytical component, the role supports farm performance through planning, data monitoring and operational coordination. It is a varied, field-based role providing practical support across farms and stepping in where short-term resourcing gaps arise.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with dairy farming experience who is keen to broaden their exposure across a larger farming operation, including graduates with relevant qualifications and on-farm experience. We need:- Practical dairy farming experience combined with the technical ability to work with farm data and systems
- A relevant agricultural qualification is ideal
- Adaptability and flexibility to work across different farm environments and step in where required
- Good communication skills and a team focused approach
- Motivation to learn, develop and build a long-term career in farming
- Physical capability to undertake field-based farm work
