[ref. n5378904] Sawmill Operator
We are currently recruiting for a Sawmill Operator to assist with our operations. Key duties include:
- Operating Sawmill machinery/control panels and equipment
- Completing relevant documentation/systems
- Undertaking product grading/quality related tasks
- Assisting the team with other duties as required
The days and hours worked are between Monday to Friday, 5.30am to 5.30pm with one RDO (Rostered Day Off), working 46 hours per week. An indicative pay range for this role is $24.32 - $28.46 depending on your skills and experience.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:Ideally you will have:
- Experience operating machinery in a relevant industry, is an advantage but ongoing training will be provided
- Experience undertaking manual/physical duties
- Sound written, numeracy and computer skills
- NZ Certificate in Solid Wood Manufacturing or equivalent, is an advantage
