Administration Team Leader Taranaki Hospital - IOC, Permanent Part time 0.6 FTE

About the Role

The administration team leader supports the day to today operational management of pool/casual clerical, allocations, IOC administration and patient travel staff. The role ensures administration pool staff are recruited and available for deployment to the organisation to respond to patient demand.

The role also supports the projects that the Integrated operations centre is working on. This position directly supports the day-to-day operations inside the IOC office. Please click here to view the position description or email HR.recruitment@tdhb.org.nz

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of 20+ administrators at based out of the IOC at Base Hospital. You will be base in the IOC office along with clinical and administration team members. You will have a close relationship with the IOC Nurse Manager, RMO Manager and IOC Manager.

About you

To be successful you require the following:

  • Experience within an administration role and excellent computer skills
  • Experience supporting projects and recruitment.
  • Experience developing rosters.
  • Seeking to develop or have experience with leadership and Management Skills or ideally lead teams.
  • Experience reviewing and implementing administration processes.
  • Be committed to providing quality work with good accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A positive and flexible attitude.
  • Be highly committed to growing an adaptable functional team
  • Highly professional in nature
