Qualified Builder
We’re looking for a Qualified Builder with a solid work ethic, honest, reliable and punctual.
We’re a small, tight-knit crew delivering high-quality residential and light commercial projects across the wider King Country and Waikato.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong problem-solving skills, a sharp eye for detail, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
This role offers the chance to grow with a business focused on long-term stability, quality workmanship, and a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Read and interpret building plans and specifications to execute tasks precisely
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and health & safety compliance
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed
- Supervise and guide apprentices or labourers if required
- Support the team in managing job timelines and project outcomes
- Maintain a high standard of presentation
What we're looking for:
- NZ Qualified Builder or equivalent
- Competent across all aspects of building
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and confidently
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Full NZ driver’s licence
