Seafood Packer/Driver required

Type of Work: Part-time position (2-3 days/week)

Attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in varying temperatures will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Process seafood products, including grading and packaging live fish and mussels.
• Inspect and grade fish, abalone, clams and shellfish for size and quality.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of seafood
• Packing live seafood into poly bins with ice
• Ensuring the correct sizes are packed for the local and export customers
• Ensuring the correct labels are put on the poly bins - Loading the seafood into trucks
• Unloading and weighing the Seafood on arrival
• Following the MPI regulations for seafood processing and food safety
• Cleaning and sanitizing the machines, graders, work areas and equipment after use
• Delivery of the seafood product to our customers and drop offs/pickups from the airport.

• Class 1 drivers license, Class 4 drivers license would be an advantage.
• Forklift License and experience is must.
• Must be in good physical health, capable of handling heavy trays, lifting seafood products, and standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to quickly learn new tasks and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be comfortable working in wet and cold environments, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
