We are looking for a fixed term Consultant Paediatricianto join our team at Hutt Hospital, where collaboration and quality care are atthe heart of everything we do.This position offers a mix of acute and non-acutepaediatric care, working within a multidisciplinary team committed todelivering high standards of clinical service.

The service is well-integrated withWellington Hospital's paediatric team, ensuring seamless care across thedistrict.Hutt Hospital is a busy surgical centre, performingover 8,000 procedures annually across a range of specialties. Our ICU, whichnow includes expanded capacity, sees over 600 admissions per year, includingpaediatric patients.We are an accredited training site withthe Royal Australasian College of Physicians and host medical students from theUniversity of Otago, contributing to the education and development of futurepaediatricians.Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley district is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making us one of the major employers in the Wellington region.
