Tilyards has been around longer than most heat pumps (30+ years, yes, we’re counting) — and we’ve been working hard to make a name for ourselves doing everything from new builds to civil projects across Auckland, Waikato and now Whangarei, our maintenance division is cranking and we need another absolute weapon of a plumber to keep up with the pace.
We tackle the tricky stuff. The weird stuff. The “why is it leaking there?” stuff. Our clients call us when they want it done once, and done properly.
So if you’re a plumbing pro who’s sick of the same old jobs and wants more variety, more freedom, and way more laughs on site — this is your sign.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Domestic + light commercial maintenance work all across Auckland
- Diagnosing problems like a plumbing Sherlock
- Handling a huge range of jobs solo or with the team — no two days are ever the same
- Representing the Tilyards name with skill, pride, and a bit of banter
- Top pay for top skills
- Company vehicle, uniform, phone

- Are a certified or registered plumber (non-negotiable – sorry apprentices, we love you but this one's not for you)
- Have solid maintenance experience
- Bonus: You’re gas certified or have solid gas experience
- Can work independently but love being part of a good crew
- Take pride in your work
- Communicate clearly with clients – with just the right mix of professionalism and personality
- Are a decent human with a good attitude and can have a good laugh
