Public health nursing includes assessment of population health, attention to the multiple determinants of health, an emphasis on primary prevention, and continued commitment to best evidence-based public health nursing practice.About the Team/Service/LocationThe public health nursing team is part of the National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, and work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures for all) by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.

About youAs a successful candidate, you will show and understand the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and be skilled in applying its principles effectively in your role.
