Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Daltons Ltd is a well established, family owned company based in Matamata, supplying high quality growing media, fertilizer and landscaping products throughout New Zealand. With a strong reputation for innovation, reliability and care for our people we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
About the Role:As a key member of our engineering and workshop team you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving our plant and machinery to ensure optimal production.
This is a hands on role, requiring strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
Some Saturday hours may be required during the busy season or while major projects are being undertaken.
About You:We are seeking someone with:
- A trade qualification in mechanical and maintenance engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or processing environment
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
