Vineyard Machinery Operator

Sheridan Contracting Marlborough Ltd is an well established viticulture contracting business which specializes in full vineyard management, grape harvesting and vineyard development.
We have been operating in Marlborough now for 20 years and pride ourselves in high quality management and operating machinery.
We are seeking an experienced machinery operator who will be responsible for any machinery operations required to manage our vineyards. This also could include G.P.S vineyard development work.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Machine Operations ManagerOperating Machinery in our managed vineyards
Maintaining machines, implements and vehicle to a high standard including pre start checks & post shift checks
Health and Safety being second nature and reporting any hazards/incidents
Punctuality as well as able to do overtime as required to stay on target
Self managing work schedules and work areas including monitoring weather forecast
Skills & Experience:
- Experienced in operation of vineyard tractors and implements and spraying
- Harvester operating preferred, not essential
- Growsafe Certificate (We will arrange if required)
- Class 1 Full Drivers Licence
- Class 2 and 4 and Wheels Endorsement would also come in handy.
