Delivery Driver & Yard Coordinator

Manson Engineering is looking for a reliable, organised Delivery Driver & Yard Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key part in keeping our workshop, yard, and project teams running smoothly.
This is not just a driving role, you’ll be coordinating inwards/outwards goods, supporting QA checks, keeping the yard running efficiently, and assisting with light fabrication or installation work when needed. No two days are the same, and you’ll work closely with a tight, supportive team who take pride in delivering high-quality aluminium and stainless-steel projects across New Zealand.
What you’ll be doing- Driving & deliveries of materials, components, and finished goods (Class 2 is preferable)
- Managing inwards and outwards goods, including documentation, packing slips, POs, and delivery scheduling
- Yard coordination. Keeping materials, stock, and equipment organised, tidy, and safely stored
- Supporting QA processes, including basic inspections, measurements, and job sign-off documentation
- Assisting with basic fabrication and assembly tasks (aluminium/stainless experience a bonus)
- Helping install teams on-site with lifting, positioning, and general support
- Coordinating with suppliers, freight companies, and internal teams to keep logistics running smoothly
- Operating forklifts/Hiab (if certified, otherwise training can be provided)
- Liaising and meeting clients as required for deliveries and logistics
- Full Class 2 licence (preferable)
- Forklift or Hiab experience (or willingness to train)
- Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Experience handling paperwork, POs, packing slips, and delivery documentation
- Practical hands-on skills including using tools, moving materials, and helping with basic fabrication tasks
- A tidy, safety-focused approach to yard and workshop environments
- Good communication and a reliable, proactive attitude
