**About the Role**
Based at **Hibiscus Cost Village in Red Beach** and this role, you will:
- Respond calmly and confidently to emergency call bells, providing first aid support when needed
- Handle residents’ personal laundry with care and respect
- Keep living spaces clean and comfortable, including vacuuming, cleaning windows, stoves, and fridges, and occasional deeper cleaning tasks as requested
- Provide day-to-day support that ensures residents feel safe, valued, and at ease
You’ll work closely under the guidance of registered nurses in a modern care environment, with plenty of support around you.
**What You’ll Bring**
We’re looking for people with heart, reliability, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
You’ll ideally have:
- A Level 4 Careerforce qualification (or equivalent), or be working towards it
- A current First Aid Certificate
- Confidence using PPE and familiarity with mobility aids
- A friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Good physical fitness to support the practical aspects of the role
- Previous experience in aged care or working with older people (highly beneficial)
- Above all, empathy, patience, and a real passion for helping others
