Important Note when applying:

This is a casual/reliever role to provide staff cover. Ideal or preferred candidates need to have availabilities from Monday - Thursday, 2.30pm onwards.

About the Role:
  • Supervise and assist children in programme activities.
  • Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy, hygienic and safe for all children, staff, parents and visitors to the programme at all times.
  • Assist the Programme Manager as required to run the daily format as scheduled as per duties outlined on the task list.
  • Report back to the Programme Manager with any concerns regarding a child or behaviour issues etc.
  • Hours of work:

As a Casual Programme Assistant, you will be schedule to work on a need on need basis. Only on Monday - Friday between the before & afterschool schedule. Majority of your shift if you have been rostered to work is during the after school shift.

After school schedule: From/ Between 2.30pm - 6pm
Before school schedule: 7am - 8.30am (only if required)

Holiday programmes available for longer shifts over the school holiday however you will need to also work during school term. We do not recruit solely based on Holiday Programmes requirements.

As a Casual/Reliever employee with sKids, you will be rostered across various sites within the Central region. This flexibility will provide you with the opportunity to work more hours. Your Primary site will be located in St Ignatius however you will also be required to work around the sites below:

  • Reliable transport or ideally a vehicle to work at the site mentioned above.
  • Have keen interest to work in similar industries
  • have previous experience working with children, it can be from babysitting or any volunteered experience.
