Administration All-rounder

Lighthouse Marine Equipment is a busy wholesale and trade business. We sell technical and semi-technical marine equipment to vessels, businesses, the navy and NGOs throughout New Zealand and the pacific. We are looking for an administration all-rounder to support the various administration requirements of the office.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing the freight and logistics of incoming orders and ensuring we use best-cost-options.
  • Liaising with our overseas suppliers to supply price and availably to customers and the sales team.
  • Administrating claims.
  • Uploading new stock and pricing into the stock management system (Unleashed)
  • Loading invoices and sending out monthly statements.
  • Managing the essential administration tasks of the business while the General Manager is away.

What we're looking for:

  • You should have sound purchasing experience dealing with multiple suppliers.
  • You need to be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products (particularly excel)
  • Some experience with of stock management systems an advantage (we use Unleased)
  • Excellent with organisation, and communication
  • Strong numerical literacy essential
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to produce reports and present them to the team if necessary
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role essential.
