Pharmacist - Clinical Trialsat Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern -
You'll have the chance to build new skills while playing a key part in the operational delivery of clinical trials.Your responsibilities will include dispensing trial medications (both sterile and non-sterile) and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, NZ Pharmacy Standards, clinical trial protocols, and International Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.Working closely with our Clinical Trials Pharmacist, you'll support a wide range of clinical trial activities.
You'll also collaborate with international trial partners and local researchers to help establish new studies, ensuring all procedures and protocols are in place so patients receive their study medications safely and efficiently.There is also the opportunity to take ownership of specific studies from initiation through to completion.This autonomy allows you to make a meaningful impact while delivering a high-quality service to research teams. Even in a part-time capacity, you'll be trusted with real responsibility—offering strong job satisfaction and valuable, hands-on experience in a specialised field.About youHospital experience is preferred although not essential, and you will possess strong time management, planning, and organisational skills.
