Civils / Operations Manager – Join Our Team
Metro Advances Ltd is looking for an experienced Civils / Operations Manager to lead and coordinate our civil works and site operations.
This role suits someone who enjoys keeping projects organised, working closely with crews and trades, and ensuring jobs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing
Operating plant and machinery when requiredLeading and coordinating daily site operations and workflow
Managing project timelines, budgets, and quality control
Communicating with the Managing Director, engineers, and site teams
Providing leadership and mentorship to crew members
Implementing and overseeing company health & safety policies and procedures
Managing fleet vehicles and equipment
Scheduling demolition, site scrapes, driveways, and gravel rafts
Staff coordination and management
Completing basic QS reporting and back-costing
Tracking site plant and equipment
Liaising with engineers and consultants
Booking and coordinating site inspections
What you’ll bring
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction, civils, or earthworks industryStrong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Competency operating plant and machinery
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Confidence using Xero, Excel, and Monday.com an advantage
Class 4 licence an advantage
