We are looking for an experienced Projects Engineer that will enjoy planning, managing, and executing complex engineering projects.

A successful candidate will likely be able to manage a number of projects on-the-go, be able to assist other teams as the need arises, as well as advancing the business itself via a number of internal projects.Enviro Water is a specialist service provider to the stormwater and wastewater industry, undertaking a wide variety of projects, routine servicing, and maintenance activities. Enviro Water has a small but high performing team, a fantastic reputation for delivering on promises and quality service, and is burgeoning as a result; additional quality engineering resources are required to continue that trajectory.
You will work beside senior members in a dynamic office environment and play a key role in maintaining day-to-day operations on work sites.
A fitting candidate will likely have a background in drainage or civil engineering, be able to demonstrate local industry knowledge and experience, and have business acumen.
Key tasks:- Interpreting contract documents, drawings, and technical information.
- Relaying information to and from site; and reporting appropriately to management.
- Developing BOMs and ordering materials.
- Estimating and new business functions.
- Figuring out how to add-value at each step of the way, enhance quality, and manage risk.
- Managing variations and developing and submitting payment claims.
- Assisting site supervision with project demands.
- Scheduling and programming work for small teams.
- Co-ordinating resources for project works and interfacing with other operational requirements.
- Using job management software to assist with the managing of projects.
- Project and contract management of small and medium size projects.
- Working on special internal projects to advance the business.
- Developing and implementing new systems.
- Providing all manner of support to management.
- Subcontractor management.
- Developing proforma and other documentation.
- Trouble shooting, fault finding, and solving technical problems in the field.
