Please state in your cover letter how many hours per week you wish to be considered for.This is a meaningful role supporting midwives and nurses in the delivery of care to māmā and pepi, and their whānau during the postnatal period.

You will assist with patient comfort, hygiene, newborn care, ward preparation, and maintaining a calm, supportive environment for families.

  • Health Assistance or equivalent (preferred).Previous experience in a hospital or maternity setting is an advantage.Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow direction.A respectful, professional approach to working with families.A flexible and reliable attitude with a strong focus on patient safety and dignity.
