Due to increasing demand we’re looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician / Operator to join our high-performing team.
“This is more than just another workshop role. Alongside keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and operating at its best, you’ll also play a hands-on role supporting breakdown response and heavy recovery operations across New Zealand.”

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles
  • Performing routine servicing and major mechanical overhauls
  • Working on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems
  • Diagnosing faults efficiently and delivering practical solutions
  • Safely operating workshop equipment including hoists and hydraulic jacks
  • Helping maintain a high standard of safety, reliability, and professionalism across our fleet
  • Supporting roadside breakdowns and heavy recovery operations when required
Operating and assisting with heavy recovery equipment and vehicles safely and professionally
  • Assisting with salvage, towing, and accident recovery of heavy vehicles and machinery
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification
  • Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Clean NZ Driver Licence
(Class 5 is an advantage but not essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

REQUIREMENTS

  • A clean NZ Driver Licence
  • NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
