We're Hiring: Service Advisor – Join Our Friendly, Fast-Paced Automotive Team!
Are you an organized, people-focused professional with a passion for the automotive industry? We are looking for a Service Advisor to be the friendly face and key point of contact at our busy service desk, working alongside our experienced advisor to keep things running smoothly.
You’ll be supporting a tight-knit team of seven awesome mechanics who are skilled, down-to-earth, and take real pride in their work. We are all about teamwork, communication, and delivering top-quality service to every customer who walks through our door.
Location: Toms Autos (Auto Super Shoppe Masterton) – 69 Dixon Street, Masterton.Employment Type: Full time (7.30am – 5.30pm) BUT everyone in our team has every second Friday off so you’ll have a long weekend every two weeks!
What You'll Be Doing:- Greeting customers with a smile and guiding them through their service experience
- Scheduling service bookings and managing workflow between customers and technicians
- Clearly explaining service recommendations, costs, and timelines
- Coordinating parts, follow-ups, and job completion efficiently
- Keeping customers informed and satisfied throughout their visit
- A friendly, professional manner with great communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Previous experience in automotive sales or service is ideal
- Confident using computer systems and managing multiple tasks at once
- A team player who can stay calm under pressure
