ST & ST MANAGEMENT LTD is a company that located in Auckland Northshore, and currently looking for Carpenters and painters. You will be offered these position with $30-$35 per hour depending on your experience and skills. This role will be a permanent position and will be guaranteed 30 hours per week.
Carpenter Job Descriptions:- Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects onsites
- Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
- Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting,inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
- Cut and install doors,windors and cabinets
- Cutting ,shaping and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements
- Assist to complete with all jobs and tasks assigned onsites
- Use hand tools to perform tasks
- Keeping the workspace and tools clean
- Other general tasks as required
- Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects.
- Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster); Fixing and repairing previous plastering work when necessary
- Mixing and preparing mortar, plasters, and other finishes.
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
- Mixing and applying paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish.
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
- Collaborating with other design and construction specialists.
- Keeping the workspace and tools clean.
The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
