The Role

You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.

This is a Fixed-term position cover for parental leave from 10 September 2025 till 24 February 2026 (TBC).

Hours: Part time; 38.5 hours per fortnight (7 Shifts per fortnight) to be worked
  • Week one: 5.5hrs/day, 0730-1330hrs on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and
  • Week two: 5.5hrs/day, 0730-1330hrs on Monday, Thursday and Friday

About You

The ideal applicant will:

  • Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
  • Work well in a team
  • Enjoy working alongside older people
  • Be physically fit and strong
  • Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  • Experience in an aged care environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent will be an added advantage
