About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, practical person to join our press team as aPress Helper/Operator.
What you’ll do:
- Support press operators by setting up parts and moving jobs to/from dispatch
- Operate CNC press brakes, overhead gantry cranes, and lifting equipment (training provided)
- Keep production running smoothly with minimal downtime
- Perform quality checks, label parts, and prepare finished work for dispatch
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and work safely as part of the press team
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (40 hours per week)
- Previous machine operating or press experience (advantageous)
- Forklift licence or experience using lifting equipment (preferred)
- Experience with CNC machinery or willingness to be trained
- Familiarity with overhead gantry cranes (advantageous)
- Full driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Full training on all equipment
