Are you passionate about keeping things running smoothly, ensuring safety, and making sure every vehicle is in top condition? McNeill Distribution Limited is looking for a motivated and organised Fleet Coordinator to help manage and maintain our diverse and high-performing fleet.

If you have a mechanical background or strong mechanical interest, thrive in a hands-on role, and enjoy working in a dynamic, team-focused environment—this is the role for you.

McNeill Distribution is a championed leader in the logistics industry, known for operational excellence, safety, and high service standards. This is a newly created role, offering exciting opportunities to grow and develop your skills as part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.

As our Fleet Coordinator, you'll be the key link ensuring our fleet operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all regulations. You will coordinate servicing and maintenance, manage compliance systems, and work closely with both internal teams and external providers.

Key Responsibilities:Fleet Maintenance and Presentation
  • Oversee regular servicing and track maintenance schedules using daily/weekly reports.
  • Conduct daily vehicle spot checks for road readiness, safety, and presentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external workshops to arrange timely servicing and repairs.
Fleet Compliance and Safety
  • Monitor and update vehicle licenses, RUCs, registrations, and permits to ensure full compliance.
  • Maintain E-Roads system and coordinate insurance and warranty claims (full training provided).
  • Ensure all fleet vehicles carry required certifications, first aid kits, and safety equipment.
Health & Safety
  • Promote a health and safety culture through example and passion
  • Ensure vehicles are equipped with and maintain safety gear to the highest standard.

We are seeking someone with a mechanical mindset—ideally with previous experience in fleet coordination, workshop, dispatch, or maintenance roles. You will need to be:

  • Reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented.
  • A strong communicator with great coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working independently, while also contributing to a close-knit team.
  • Flexible with availability for occasional after-hours support during breakdowns or emergencies.
This is a hands-on, varied, and rewarding role where you will work with a unique fleet supported by the latest technology and systems. You will be backed by a collaborative and experienced team—including management, HR, and Health & Safety—and supported with opportunities for career progression and professional development.
We value work-life balance and offer flexibility where possible, although the role may occasionally require after-hours support for urgent situations. A competitive salary is on offer, along with the stability of working in a secure, long-established business that truly values its people.

Please note: this position does not come with a dedicated company vehicle; however, fleet vehicles will be available for use when required to fulfil work-related duties.

If you are mechanically minded, driven, and ready to play a key part in our fleet's success, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply online today to join McNeill Distribution and help drive safety, reliability, and excellence in every mile.
