Warehouse Operator

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator for our timber packing operations. C3 manage packing operations at Sulphur Point and The Mount where we pack and devan export and import containers for a range of customers, handling a wide range of products including timber and cardboard packaging.

Our timber packing operation covers Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work dependent on volumes. The predominant roster pattern is 0500am to 1700pm, however when volumes are high, we also have a 0900am to 2100pm roster. Flexibility with availability is a prerequisite as C3 operate multiple warehouses each with different roster patterns and movement between warehouses is sometimes required.

We are looking for experienced operators to drive forklifts between 3-16 tonne lifting capacity, as well as perform manual warehouse tasks. The main functions are transfer of product from road trucks, warehousing activities, vanning and devanning containers.

The staff we require will need to fit in well with our existing motivated and dedicated teams. Good time management skills are essential, and applicants need to be motivated and responsive due to a need to meet often changing customer requirements, shipping schedules and production deadlines.

Requirements for the position are:

• Experience in operating large forklifts
• Good attention to detail, with admin skills an advantage
• Commitment to the Health and Safety of you and your team
• A strong focus on teamwork
• Good communication skills
• F and OSH forklift endorsements preferred
• Full Class 1 licence preferred
• Administration skills would be advantageous but not essential
