They are currently seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to support the ongoing improvement of health and safety performance across multiple sites.
About the Role | Mo te Turanga
This is a pivotal role focused on strengthening and supporting the implementation of ANZCO’s health and safety systems and practices. You’ll collaborate with site-based H&S teams, operational managers, and leaders to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with site-based Health & Safety Advisors and teams to enhance safety performance
- Reviewing, developing, and updating health and safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining information with the Health and Safety Management System
- Supporting the implementation of ANZCO’s Foods Health and Safety Assurance Plan
- Leading investigations into significant incidents and high-potential near misses
- Providing health and safety support to operational sites, as required
About You | Mou Ake
Success in this role will come from a collaborative mindset, a proactive approach, and the ability to offer support and guidance across all levels of the business.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior H&S advisory or operational role
- Demonstrated experience in system audits and complex investigations
- Strong computer literacy (e.g., MS Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Flexibility to travel as needed
