Duty Manager – The Craft Embassy

The Craft Embassy is looking for a full-time Duty Manager to join our front-of-house team at our craft beer bar and restaurant on The Terrace.

You’ll get to know them, and they’ll get to know you.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. You don’t need to be a beer nerd — curiosity and a willingness to learn go a long way, and we’ll support you as you do.

• Running shifts across the bar and floor
• Delivering warm, confident, high-quality service
• Looking after host responsibility and compliance
• Supporting and leading the team through busy services
• Keeping the venue clean, organised, and inviting

This is a full-time role, including nights and weekends.

• Hold a current Duty Manager’s Certificate
• Available to interview in Christchurch immediately
• Eligible to work in New Zealand with no restrictions on hours
