We are close to the Waitomo Caves, our close community areas are Otorohanga, Taharoa, and Marokopa to the west, south to Mokau and east to Pureora, and north of Otorohanga just south of Te Awamutu. About the RoleYou will work with team of Registered and Enrolled nurses, Health Care assistants and Doctors in both the inpatient ward and 24 hour Emergency Department. This team is supported by Allied Health and administration team. On any given roster you will be working concurrently in the ward and the emergency department.You may also be working in the community supporting District Nursing or another day in one of the outpatients clinic with a visiting specialist. About the Team/ServiceThe facility consists of 12 bed inpatient unit and a 24 hour emergency department which nurses are first line for triage. Doctors from the co-located primary care practice provide the medical care in the inpatient ward and ED department and provide an on call afterhours service to the hospital.
