As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Leading Hand / Advanced Scaffolder to join our team.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for leading a crew on-site, ensuring scaffolds are built to spec, on time, and above all, safely. This role is hands-on and will suit someone who leads by example, communicates well, and is passionate about quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leading and managing a team of scaffolders on various job sites
- Erecting, altering, and dismantling scaffolding systems safely and efficiently
- Reading and interpreting plans and site instructions
- Completing JSA/TA documents and ensuring site compliance
- Liaising with site managers and clients
- Conducting daily pre-starts and toolbox talks
What We’re Looking For :
- NZ Advanced Scaffolding ticket (or working towards it)
- Proven experience leading scaffolding teams
- Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance
- Clean drivers license
- Great attitude and solid work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards under pressure
- A strong communicator with a voice — not afraid to speak up, give direction, or raise concerns
