MINGLONG ENTERPRISES LIMITED, a well-established and rapidly expanding company, is strengthening its workforce to meet growing business demands. We are seeking dedicated and skilled butchers to become part of our motivated and energetic team.

• Preparing meat for sale by cutting, trimming, boning, mincing, grinding and shaping it for display or as ordered.
• Creating value-added products such as crumbed, marinated, seasoned, or cured cuts.
• Selecting, preparing, and processing meat for the production of smallgoods.
• Operating equipment to grind, mince, mix, tenderise, and process meat.
• Preparing seasonings, pickles, and marinades by blending spices, salt, and other ingredients.
• Using machines such as sausage fillers, smoking chambers, cooking kettles, and vats in smallgoods production.
• Advising customers on suitable cuts of meat and their preparation or cooking uses.
• Assisting with menu planning, scheduling, and estimating food production costs when required.
• Managing or supporting the overall meat preparation and smallgoods production process.
• Performing other reasonable duties as assigned by the employer.

• Location: Wellington
• Job type: Full-time
• Pay rate: 28.00 – 32.00 New Zealand dollars per hour
• Days required: 6 days per week, on a rostered basis
• Hours per week: At least 30

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, or a relevant New Zealand level 4 qualification, or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
