Work where others holiday enjoy the beaches, bustling cafes, and vibrant coastal lifestyle in TaurangaPart time, fixed-term position starting August 2026 0.8 FTE Monday to FridayLead Paediatric occupational therapy services across Tauranga and support equity across the districtHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to join our inpatient Paediatric team for a fixed term parental leave position August 2026-2027.The role is varied and primarily covers ward 4a (Paediatrics), the Neo-natal unit and some outpatient clinics including neonatal development follow up, pain and fatigue management groups.You will work alongside a team of Allied Health Professionals including a Paediatric Allied Health Clinical Lead, Child Development Services, nursing and medical staff to ensure excellent service delivery whilst having the opportunity to grow your toolkit of transdisciplinary knowledge in this area.About the Team/Service/LocationThe dynamic Medical Occupational Therapy team works within a wider Allied Health structure that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Clinical Leads and Team Leads partner closely to strengthen transdisciplinary practice and maintain high quality patient-centred care across services.
