We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer focused team members to join our Garden Centre and Garden Hardware departments. These are permanent full time roles, working Tuesday to Saturday.
About the Role:This is a hands on, physically active position where you’ll be on your feet and working both indoors and outdoors. You’ll be part of a friendly, knowledgeable team helping customers bring their garden and outdoor projects to life.
You’ll be responsible for providing helpful, informed product advice while supporting sales and delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves handling, lifting, and moving heavy product safely and efficiently, as well as using ladders confidently and safely for merchandising and stock management.
You’ll help maintain stock levels and merchandising standards, keep the department safe, tidy, and well presented, and work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming environment for customers.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, can do attitude and a team focused approach
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy and confidence learning new systems
- High physical capability: this role involves regular heavy lifting, shifting bulky product, moving trolleys, and working outdoors
- Confidence working at height, including safe ladder use for merchandising, stock rotation, and overhead product handling
- A proactive, Health & Safety conscious mindset
- Plant or garden hardware knowledge is an advantage however full training will be provided for the suitable applicants.
