Truck Driver - Weekend work - Class 5

The position is for weekend work (Saturday/Sunday) with early starts (between 1:30-4am) and variable finish times. Typically working 10-12 hours per day.

The work is based from Manukau.

Pay rate is from $28 per hour depending on experience, skills. Chilled/frozen experience is preferred but training will be given to the right candidate.

You must have had Class 5 licence for at least 12 months (one year).

• prior experience in refridgerated transport
• OSH forklift certificate
• basic tech experience/understanding (for devices)
• basic experience in electric and manual pellet jacks
• ability to maintain cleanliness of truck inside/out

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, MOJ check & the NZTA Medical Certificate of Fitness to Drive.
• Clean drivers licence - this is checked via TORO.
• Be fit, able and reliable (and have reliable transport to get to work)
• Be self sufficient AND able to work as a team.
• Positive & professional outlook with a willingness to learn.
• Be prepared to work within safety guidelines as set out by us - the employer, and Foodstuffs.
• Have excellent communication and good written skills.
• Applicants must not be a smoker/vaper.
• High level of personal presentation & hygiene.
• Good command of English.
