This is a rare opportunity to move into a Contracts Manager pathway with a well established Wellington painting and decorating company known for delivering high quality commercial projects.
We're looking for someone who is strong on site, confident with people, and motivated to grow into a leadership role that offers genuine progression and long term stability.
**About the Role**You'll start in a Painting Foreman / Site Supervisor capacity while being mentored closely by senior leaders.
Once you've demonstrated capability and readiness, you'll transition into a Contracts Manager position, taking ownership of projects, clients, and delivery outcomes.
**Day to day, you will:**- Lead site teams to deliver commercial projects to high standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials and scheduling
- Maintain site safety and quality compliance
- Communicate clearly with clients, consultants and internal teams
- Support project planning and reporting as you build toward a CM role.
This role is ideal for someone who wants more responsibility and is ambitious about developing their career in construction management.
**What We're Looking For**- Experience as a Painting Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Site Manager
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Ability to build strong relationships on site and with clients
