We're seeking a Yard Person to join our dynamic team at our Christchurch Yard. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a crucial part in the scrap metal recycling process while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized yard.
As a Yard Metal Buyer/Processor, you’ll be responsible for sorting and processing various types of scrap metal, as well as interacting with customers to provide top-notch service. If you’re a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
The Yard person will be based at our Takanini site and is responsible for working safely and efficiently, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:- Sort and Identify Scrap Metal

- Experience: Previous experience in a scrap metal or recycling yard is a plus, but we’re also happy to train the right candidate.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
- Customer Service: A friendly and professional attitude with a focus on delivering great service.
- Safety Commitment: A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, with a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
