Located at 72 Barrys Point Road, we are a cornerstone of the Auckland riding community. Our operation is unique: a massive showroom of world-class helmets, apparel, and accessories upstairs, and a high-energy tyre fitting and service department downstairs.
We are looking for a Store Manager who is obsessed with people, processes, and keeping the wheels turning smoothly.
The Role
This isn't just a "sit behind the desk" job. You’ll be the heartbeat of the store, ensuring our retail specialists and service technicians are performing at their best. While an interest in motorbikes is a bonus, it is not a requirement. We can teach you about tyre compounds and helmet safety—we need you to bring the management "engine."
What You’ll Be Doing- Team Leadership: Mentoring a diverse team to provide top-tier service.
- Process Mastery: Following existing workflows and identifying ways to make our "upstairs-downstairs" operation even more efficient.
- Stock Management: Taking ownership of stock orders and inventory levels to ensure we always have the right gear on the shelves.
- Proactive Ownership: When the store is quiet, you’re the one finding ways to improve the showroom, update displays, or streamline the back-of-house.
- Customer Connection: Engaging with our regulars and new riders alike, ensuring every visitor feels welcome.
- An Experienced Manager: You have a solid track record of leading teams and hitting targets in a retail or service-oriented business.
- Process-Oriented: You love a good system and understand that attention to detail is what keeps a large store successful.
- A People Person: You’re approachable, calm under pressure, and great at building culture within a team.
- Self-Motivated: You don't wait for a "to-do" list. You see a gap and you fill it.
