Casual Support Workers Wanted - Blenheim

Papatuanuku Independency Trust is seeking casual Support Workers to join our team in Waikawa, Marlborough. As a casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and assistance to our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and well-being.

• Assisting residents with a range of daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and social engagement
• Providing compassionate and respectful support to residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and empathy
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support the delivery of high-quality care
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines

• Experience in the aged care or disability support sector, with a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing of older adults and people with disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of clients
• A current first aid certificate or the willingness to obtain one
• A clean police check and the right to work in New Zealand
