Contract administrator
Location: Christchurch, Canterbury Region
Pay Rate: $30 – $40 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (Minimum 30 hours per week)
About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Christchurch-based cleaning company. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to manage contracts, coordinate service delivery, and support operational efficiency across commercial and residential cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts for cleaning services across commercial properties and residential clients
- Negotiating contract terms, conditions, and variations with clients and service providers
- Monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms, service standards, and company policies
- Maintaining accurate contract records, documentation, and reporting systems
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution
- Identifying and resolving contract issues, discrepancies, and service delivery concerns
- Supporting procurement processes, including sourcing and managing service providers
- Assisting in pricing, quoting, and tender preparation for new and existing contracts
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinating scheduling, staffing allocation, and service delivery in line with contractual obligations
- Monitoring budgets and costs associated with contracts to ensure profitability
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience OR a relevant qualification in business, management, or a related field
Strong understanding of contract administration, documentation, and compliance processes- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Good computer and administrative skills (MS Office and record-keeping systems)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
