We’re on the hunt for a Cook to join our kitchen crew at Eddies. This is a full-time role offering 30-45 hours per week, worked across 5 days on a rotating roster (Monday to Sunday), with two consecutive days off.
We’re a well established cafe with a strong made from scratch food focus, located in an iconic Mount Maunganui spot. We’re all about a positive, fast paced, people focused workplace.
The Role- Preparing and cooking high quality meals to menu standards
- Ensuring great taste, presentation, and consistency
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and food safe
- Assisting with prep, stock control, and kitchen flow
- Working closely with the kitchen and service team
- Experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Baking experience (a bonus, not essential)
- Positive attitude, good communication, and a team mindset
- $27.00 - $29.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Minimum 30 hours, up to 45 hours per week
