Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced STMS to join our team.

This role is responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective implementation of temporary traffic management (TTM) on worksites. It's a physically demanding role that requires leadership, adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to health and safety.

Above all, we need someone we can count on - turning up regularly, staying current with their competencies, and sees a long-term future with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Following Traffic Management Plans (TMP) for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) on both local and State Highway roading networks within the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
  • Leading toolbox briefings, risk analysis and ensuring CoPTTM/NZGTTM compliance.
  • Managing the safe use of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant job instructions.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in traffic management required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Class 1 full licence (Class 2 preferable).
  • CAT A / CAT B STMS certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and communicate clear expectations to your team.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to turning up every day ready to work.
  • NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.
