Welcome to 5 Stars Painting & Plastering Limited. We are family own business and have been operating for the past 10 years. We are extremely busy and are URGENTLY looking for a skilled painter to join the teams.

• A minimum of 3 Years working experience as Painter
• Have knowledge and understand of Basic Health and safely requirement and Building code
• Have experienced with painting new build residential, renovation, commercial and more
• Have experienced using special effect paint such as Porter’s paint, Resene FX paint
• Have NZ full driver license
• Abilities to work as Team with other
• Ability to complete a job without supervision
• Good Time management and hard working

• Pay rate of $31 per hours
• Minimum of not less than 35 hour up to 40 hour per weeks
• May be required to work on the weekend and pubic holiday if necessary

• You are required to follow instructions provided by the Director of 5 Stars Painting & Plastering, and/or our company site manager or management staff and must make daily report to the management person.
• Your duties will be relating to painting activities, including: surface preparation, work area protection, applying paint, wallpaper and additional finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other areas, and work place tidy up. You may be required to perform some building works that may relates to our painting work.
• Utilising pre-coating agents, fulling and levelling materials, and mix and match colours and textures.
• Must be able to follow compound specifications for mixing of paints and painting techniques, handle huge materials movement.
• You must follow instructions from our appointed site manager and be responsive to communication relating to work.
• You must maintain correct record and general record keeping including hours, materials used and other required information required for each individual job and pass on to management staff when request for.
• Working as a team with other builders to meet the customers requirement, project deadline while upholding high safety standards
• 5 Stars Painting & Plastering may vary this position description and/or who you report to at any time following consultation with you, but not so as to change substantially the nature or responsibilities of the position (except in the case of a reorganisation of 5 Stars Painting & Plastering). You will also be required to perform other duties which are reasonably incidental to your position, as directed by 5 Stars Painting & Plastering.
• When performing your duties, you must not be careless to make sure you take good care of customer’s properties. Any damages caused by your carelessly actions, you will have to be responsible.
