About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to work on a Casual basis for Tauranga Hospital. Hours will be on a if and when required basis, dependent on business needs.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for;
  • Basic food preparation
  • Sandwich making
  • Providing superb customer service
  • Serving meals
  • Stock control
  • Assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties

He korero mou / About you:

If you're our ideal candidate;

You will have good communication skills, be well presented, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.

Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) (or be happy to train for one).

You will have superior customer service skills but

most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
