Job Duties
We operate franchisees of Chicking in AUCKLAND. We require Shift Managers and Fast Food cooks . It is a shift work job and need to be flexible to work on Weekends and late nights. We have multiple vacancies.
Duties and Responsibilities for SHIFT MANAGERS :
Shift Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the store during their shift.
They will need to ensure they achieve sales targets, operational efficiency, and profitability targets.
Supervising and directing the workforce, assisting the management in making staffing decisions (i.e. hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, staffing and scheduling).
They will ensure customer satisfaction, product quality, and the execution of Company standards and policies, including operational, Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures, in their store.
The Shift Manager is responsible for providing the appropriate coaching and support to their team around procedures and policies during their shift, ensuring that their store achieves and maintains the required performance standards.
As a Manager you will:
Work to achieve all financial targets allocated by the restaurant as per the annual operating plan and/or quarterly forecasts.
Mange COGs %, food waste, labour, cash variance, and all other semi variables ensuring targets are achieved.
Accurate reporting complete in a timely manner.Operate within established guidelines for expenditure and approval authority,customer service culture across the store.
Provide input towards staffing and stock requirements.
Resolve simple conflicts within staff members.
Resolve simple and basic complaints of the customers.
Your role will also- demonstrating and explaining to customers the establishment's goods and services
- selling food, beverages, clothing, footwear and other personal and household goods and services
- accepting payment for goods and services by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices
- assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and participating in stocktakes
- stacking and displaying goods for sale, and wrapping and packing goods sold
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR FAST FOOD COOKS
Job DutiesPrepares a restricted range of foods in a fast food establishment.
Tasks Include:- taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payment from customers
- preparing food such as hamburgers, pizzas, fish and chips
- washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking
- operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers
- cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
- ordering and taking delivery of fast food ingredients
- may arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages
- Language Proficiency: Basic proficiency in English, as many customers prefer good
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with products from the menu, with a strong
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for
engaging with suppliers, staff, and customers.
Level 3- Certificate or above is required.OR 1 year experience is required.
