Located in the welcoming regional town of Forbes NSW, Jemalong Retirement Village is our 105-bed residential aged care home, and we are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion offering a rare chance to step into a well-established role with a strong foundation.

We are looking for an experienced nurse manager professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for person-centred care, and the ability to foster a positive team environment.

In this leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our 105-bed, single level home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service for our residents. With a stable and fully staffed master roster, and a team committed to excellence, you will be supported to focus on operational and clinical leadership, quality improvement and community engagement.

You'll foster a culture of warmth, respect and excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services across clinical, administrative, hospitality, maintenance, and lifestyle functions.

You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team including 3 Care Managers, a Workplace Educator, Administration Manager, Coordinators for Lifestyle, Pastoral Care, Maintenance, Hospitality and Housekeeping, and a committed team of nurses and carers.

In addition, you'll have access to a Regional Manager and centralised support from HR, Recruitment, Workforce Rostering and Operational teams.

Key responsibilities: Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care

Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirements
Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and resident experience
Operational planning, budgeting and resource management

Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and the wider community

What you'll bring: Bachelor of Nursing tertiary qualification (Registered Nurse in NZ)

Current RN AHPRA registration (or willing to obtain in Australia)
At least 5 years of highly relevant employment experience in nurse leadership / management roles
in aged care.
Proven leadership in healthcare operations, including rostering and financial oversight
