Accommodation Manager - Queenstown

Luxe Stay Holiday Homes Ltd is a premium holiday home management company based in Queenstown. We provide end-to-end property management services including guest support, housekeeping coordination, and maintenance. Following several years of strong growth, we now manage over 100 properties in Queenstown and continue to expand.
We are seeking 1–2 full-time Accommodation Managers to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organises and controls the day-to day operations of holiday home accommodation services.
- Respond to guest enquiries via phone, SMS, and email, including after-hours and attending to urgent matters as required.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure all fittings, chattels, and appliances are functioning and presentable and identify areas of improvement to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Perform simple maintenance tasks and coordinate professional tradespeople for more complex issues (including obtaining quotes, arranging access, and follow-up).
- Manage and update holiday home listings on various booking platforms.
- Monitor property cleanliness and communicate with internal housekeeping teams.
- Where required and appropriate, perform light grounds keeping tasks such as lawn mowing and garden trimming.
- Where required and appropriate, carry out advanced handyman work such as painting, grouting, or door lock replacement.
Terms and Conditions:
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week (rostered over 5 days, including weekends/public holidays)
- Pay Rate: $33 – $38 per hour (based on experience)
- Work Location: Primarily mobile across managed properties in Queenstown, based out of company office
- Start Date: Immediate or by agreement
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in hospitality or accommodation management, or a diploma level qualification in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence
- Professional standard of English, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in holiday home or accommodation management (advantageous)
- Strong computer literacy and confidence in using online platforms (advantageous)
- Hands-on knowledge of property maintenance (advantageous)
