We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team in Taradale/Napier. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with immediate start available for the right candidate.
About the Role:You'll be working across residential and commercial sites, including new builds, maintenance work, and repaints. Duties include:
- Brush, roller, and spray application
- Plastering and surface preparation
- Delivering high-quality finishes with attention to detail
- Proven painting experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Skills in plastering, brush, roller, and spray techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience on new builds, residential, and commercial maintenance projects
- Reliable transport to get to and from work
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand (no sponsorship provided)
- Immediate start.
- Competitive hourly rate: $28 – $35 (based on experience)
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
