About the Role
As Front Office Manager, you’re more than just a department head – you’re our chief cheerleader. You lead from the front, inspire your team daily, and ensure that each guest feels genuinely welcomed, whether arriving at midday or midnight.
In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office.
- Support, mentor, and motivate a team of Guest Service professionals to deliver outstanding service every time.
- Ensure the team is well-trained, well-presented, and operating to the highest standard.
- Manage timekeeping and staff rosters to meet service demands while maintaining efficiency and controlling labour costs.
- Be available to work across all shifts, including overnights, to support the Night Team and ensure 24/7 consistency in service.
Collaborate closely with all departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
Key Skills and Requirements- Proven experience in a leadership role - 3-5 years supervisory or manager.
- A genuine passion for guest service, team development, and creating a positive workplace culture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on, approachable leadership style.
- Experience in staff mentoring, training, and performance development.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Flexible availability, including overnight shifts as required.
First Aid, LCQ and Full NZ Drivers Licence required.
